with Vikram in the lead. Rajapattai is a mass movie with action, romance and humour.
Says Vikram, ' I love to do commercial cocktail and Rajapattai is close to my heart'.
Directed by Suseenthiran of Vennila Kabbadi Kuzhu, Azhagarsamiyin Kuthirai and Naan Mahan Alla fame,
the film has Deeksha Seth and legendary actor K Vishwanath in lead roles.
Similar to Suseenthiran’s previous films, this one too talks about an issue
‘ The land grabbing crisis in Tamilnadu’. Vikram plays the role of a gym instructor who wants
to make it big in films.
‘It is a movie in the likes of Dhool, Samy and Dhil.
Suseenthiran, known for doing movies close to reality has opted for a colorful-film
loaded with commercial elements and I enjoy doing it’, adds Vikram.
Vikram will be sporting seven different looks in the films.
We opted for vibrant colors and it has come good on screen, says the director.
‘It’s the first time I am experimenting with an out-and-out commercial film.
I am really glad to have cast a versatile actor like Vikram in this film.
These days we read in newspapers on incidents of land grabbing and the police action on the wrong-doers.
This is the basic knot of Rajapattai. Vikram will be seen in a pakka action role’.
He adds Suseenthiran said that the story by Seenu, cinematography by Madhie,
and Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music will be the special features in the film.
